Hey everyone back home!!! Happy 4th of July! I am guessing you are probably out popping fireworks and we are here getting ready to crash (hopefully soon) and get ready for everything in the morning. Things are going great and already in the first week of students being here there are more people getting to know Father than there were last year total. Greatness! Thanks to Him and his glorious plans for people…. Continue to ask on our behalf that we would be sensitive to what He is saying to us and that we would be obedient. Great things are happening here in London! Be sure to check out the student’s blog replies!

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009What a day! We did 2 sorties (meaning we go out and find what is lost) back to back and these are extremely tiring. All honor to Him for those contacts that were made and for the thoughts that went into the pamphlets we gave out. Over all there were over 3500 pamphlets passed out by 15 people in less than 4 hours. Pretty incredible! J4J is such a neat organization and the purpose is so fitting. We were also encouraged by a woman native to Nigeria as we got on the overground and how she was so happy to see teenagers working for Father. I gave her info for the London contacts that we have and ask that Father provides some needs for her. Please continue to lift up our JSI team. We need strength and discernment as we continue to follow His guidance. A major thing that happened today in general that was pretty amazing is that there are now more people that are like-minded! Yay for that! Can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow as our team heads to Wimbledon to pass out more pamphlets to people waiting to see Murray play Roddick! How great is our Father!

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009Hey today was great! We were able to go out with our team for the first time. I think at first it was a little overwhelming but all of the students and leaders did an amazing job and many conversations were started. We were also able to get many contacts so that the J4J office can follow up with them. Please ask Father for 2 opportunities to come back my way. One young guy has an extremely mixed background of Judaism and Mennonite beliefs. I had a great discussion with him- thankfully I will be here for a few more weeks and he lives on the road where we were. He took a pamphlet and wantecd to know more information. He didn’t leave me any contact information but also shared with me he’s been contimplating a lot about Truth. This is so exciting! One other young guy (probably in his teens) stopped and talked to me about it. He has been raised orthodox Catholic and is tired of traditions and rules. What a grand opportunity I have! He also travels the road frequently and asked if I would be back.
We give thanks for what was accomplished for we know its not of us. For He is great- and greatly to be praised! We ask for more opportunities (even if they are out of our comfort zone as they were today :) ) and that more would hear of Him in the days to come!
Much love- AG

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009I am so glad that the team is finally here! We start work tomorrow with a local organization and I can’t wait to see what happens! Check out the JSI blogs for more details on the days! I think there are a few kinks in the blog system so we’ll try to keep it short and sweet.
London JSI Updates
Tuesday, June 30th, 2009Hey from London!
It’s been quite an adventure from the beginning of Base Camp until this point. This morning we were able to pick up our first group of student from Missouri and Oklahoma (and of course 1 Texas student) from the airport. We are praising Father that there were not any glitches in the process. Today we were basically showing the the touristy places because that’s probably the last time they will actually see them. Yes, just a reminder this isn’t a vacation! Our students and us on the JSI team are here to do work. The students and adult leaders probably felt like it today as they were dragged here and there trying to keep them awake so their time of adjustment is easier. Tomorrow morning we start off in fellowship as we break into our seperate Trek colors and go to our designated areas for our specific purposes. I am so happy to report our JSI Team has been getting along great. Your thoughts towards our team are greatly appreciated and are truly treasured. So thanks!
Some things to think about when you talk to our Father concerning our JSI Teams:
-health of the teams (physically, mentally and emotionally)
-growth in personal life
-discernment
-sensitivity to directions from our Authority
More updates coming daily, be sure and check out what all has been done in the lives of the students as well.
